THe Camp K-9 Team
Sean & Rae
Hi my name is Sean, I have an energetic black lab puppy at home named Willow and I have my bachelors degree in environmental science. Someday I hope to continue on to achieve my masters. I've always had a passion to work with animals and hope to one day work in the field of veterinary medicine. I am certified in Animal care, Animal First Aid and Animal CPR. In addition to working at Camp K-9, I volunteer at the local animal shelter here in Westfield. In my spare time I love being outdoors hiking and exploring, or playing music with friends.
Hola, my name is Rae. I have been working with animals my whole life. I am certified in Animal care, Animal First Aid and Animal CPR. In addition to being Fear Free Certified and currently working toward earning my Dog Trainer diploma. I am a wife and step mom to two children and I am owned by one fur-baby who has special needs, named Chappie. I am currently enrolled in a Pre vet course and have already obtained my associates degree in Veterinary Medicine. Before starting my journey with Camp K-9 I worked at a Rescue shelter for multiple years. I have been working for the Camp K-9 team for 6 months now. I love my career and spending time creating bonds with all of the fur kids we have here at Camp K-9. In my spare time I love to write music and am interested in all types of art, especially body art. I have over 50 tattoos from a variety of tattoo artists throughout the United States.
Camp Lead - Devan
Hello, incase your pups haven't told you all about me yet, my name is Devan. I am so lucky to know and love each and everyone of our campers. Working with such amazing animals and people has opened my eyes to a whole new field that I could see myself finding true happiness in. I have many dreams for myself, but the best would be to make a career out of my love for animals.
Camp K-9 Camp Director - Kayla
My name is Kayla, I got my start really working with dogs at the local animal shelter here in Westfield. This is where I fell in love with the idea of really getting to know a dog on a personal level. I have spent time with local trainers learning basics on dog training which I have applied to my job here at Camp K-9. I am certified in Animal care, Animal First Aid and Animal CPR. Outside of spending time with my favorite dogs at Camp K-9 I rescue and foster cats and kittens. I own two cats Buffy and Clyde along with a few others who have become permanent fosters in my home. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games and spending time with my cats and family on my days off. My goal is to grow as a dog behaviorist and with the hopes to someday become a certified dog trainer.
Hi my name is Rosie and I am a Camp Counselor here at Camp K-9! I am a graduate of Smith Vocational and Agriculture High School in Northampton where I studied Animal Science. I was apart of the FFA and I competed in competitions with other high school students from Massachusetts. I won medals and earned certificates in Dairy Handling and Farm Business Management. After I graduated I attended HCC to presume my Animal Science education, so that I can become a Vet Tech. In my previous employment prior to working at Camp K-9 I have worked on a Dairy Farm and Dog Day Care & Kennel out in Connecticut. When I am not at work I love to play with my dog Beau who is just 1 years old, he is a dachshund and mini pin mix. He also attends Camp K-9 and plays with many of your dogs. In my spare time I love to go to the movies and go kayaking.
